Some more info on the gig at Tåget in Borås, Sweden on Friday, November 27:
ABNORM will enter the stage at 20.30, and there's 2 more bands (TRASH METAL MOTHERFUCKERS and AMIREN), no entrance, no alcohol or drugs. Tåget is at Brämhultsvägen 28 (near the hospital).

November 22, 2009
Of course they had to change the fucking date of our last gig again! It will now happen 1 day earlier, November 27 and nothing else. So see you at Tåget in Borås, Sweden on Friday then. I (Blom) don't have any further details yet..

November 10, 2009
Tåget have already changed the date for our last gig to November 28.

November 7, 2009
O.k., hang on a few seconds here.... It might not be over just yet! There will probebly be 1 last gig at Tåget in our hometown Borås, Sweden on Saturday, November 14. I say might be as they have cancelled twice already, and as usual I (Blom) ain't got any further details (yet).

ABNORM 1999-2009
As the members of Swedish punk/hardcore band ABNORM are tired of the band, they have decided to take a break.
Wheter it's going to be forever, 5 years (like last time) or just for a short while is presently not clear.
ABNORM would like to thank the few who have supported us, and ask all the others to fuck off (hehe).
All stuff that's been released so far can still be downloaded for free from abnorm.se
Goodbye/Adjö/Adios/Ciao

October 14, 2009
The gig that was supposed to be at Kulturföreningen Tåget in Borås, Sweden on Saturday, October 17 is cancelled (once again). Might be something in the end of November instead..

October 7, 2009
The gig is postponed a week and will now take place on October 17. It will be intresting to see if we will get any further details though..

September 23, 2009
Time for a new update and to reveal what's going on with ABNORM.
It looks like we're going to play at the place where we rehearse (not in the rehearsal room though) - Tåget in Borås, Sweden - on October 10. And that's all we know so far..
We plan to enter the studio in early November to re-record our latest songs plus 2 new ones, 'cus the last recording we did sucked. This time we won't use Tåget's studio, but the legendary Evil Grill in Göteborg instead. These songs will hopefully be the 7" that we've been talking about for almost a year now.

August 30, 2009
Sorry for not updating for a couple of months, but singer/webmaster Blom's computer crashed. But now I'm back!
The Play4Fan festival got cancelled, so we never went to Örebro. Maybe later?
The 7" EP is still not released for reasons I'm not gonna bore you with. It will hopefully be released sooner or later (most likely later).
We had a break for 2 months or something, but now we're back in the rehearsal room again and make new hits.

May 13, 2009
Believe it or not, but when you least expect it we're suddenly booked for a gig. We will be playing at the 1-day festival Play4fan in Örebro, Sweden on July 30. Be there! We don't have any information on other artists yet..
When it comes to mixing the songs for the 7", Marc at Noise & Distortion will give it a try. We don't expect that the 7" will be out in time for the gig in Örebro, but who knows?

May 7, 2009
This is the deal:
We admit that we once again made the bad choice to record the songs for our upcoming 7" for free at the same studio as usual. And now we sit here with a couple of songs that you hardly can hear unless you put the speakers to the max. I (Jimmy - singer & webmaster) tried to just put up the volume with a free program, but that diden't turn out good enough (might sound o.k. on MySpace, but most stuff seems to sound bad there).
So what we're looking for now is somebody who can make a better mix of this recording, and you have to do it fast (no we don't have any patiance at all, we almost go back home when we can't find the venue we're supposed to play at, haha!). If you can do it, please let us know at once! But don't expect us to pay you a million (it would be best if you do it for free 'cus you actually like our music).

April 13, 2009
We finally got a reply from Marc at Noise & Distortion. His been busy with some work on the house, but there will be a 7", so don't worry..

April 7, 2009
Hussieskunk :: Punk Radio
We have now reached place 10 on the Top 20 at Hussieskunk :: Punk Radio. In 1 or 2 week we'll reach the top ;-) Seems like there's at least a few who like us..
It was said that the 7" should be out this spring, but we haven't heared anything from Noise & Distortion in about 1 or 2 months, so we don't know if there will be anything at all..
Would be nice to get some comments in the guestbook from more people than ABNORM and Jimmy's little brother, haha!
Happy Easter asshole!

April 1, 2009
Hussieskunk :: Punk Radio
ABNORM are currently on place 32 (together with AMEBIX etc.) at Hussieskunk :: Punk Radio, which means that we've been played 13 times so far. Those who are at the top have been played 26 times only, so who knows, we might be at the top 20 soon..
We are currently taking a short break to come up with new material (we have a lot of lyrics, but no music), and waiting for the 7" to be released. We are still available for gigs, so please book us! We play for gas money, but food (1 vegetarian is a must! cucumber and tomatoes in a taco bread is NOT o.k.!) and some beer woulden't be bad.

March 30, 2008
Well, the gig in Trollhättan diden't go too well as we had a lot of problems with the sound on stage. Very useful to soundcheck 2 times when you can't even get the sound right.. No more soundchecks, please! ;-)
We will probebly take it easy for a while to come up with some new songs..

March 8, 2009
We will be playing live at M15 in Trollhättan, Sweden on March 27 together with MINISTER DÖD, WARCHAOS and ABSTINENZ. The place opens at 19.00, and entrance is 40 Swedish kronor. Visit M15 on the web at: www.magasin15.se

February 23, 2009
Hussieskunk :: Punk Radio
"Hussieskunk :: Punk Radio" will add a couple of our songs to their playlist, so check 'em out by clicking on the banner.

February 22, 2009
There's some "new" photos from our gig in Göteborg in December last year that you can check out. They've been up on our MySpace page for a couple of weeks already, but now they're finally here too.
Other news is that we might do a gig in Trollhättan in March. Unfortunately I (Blom) don't have any date or anything else at the moment, but as soon as I know anything I let you know.

January 28, 2009
Check out the new song "Totala Helvetet" (total hell) on our MySpace profile. The song comes from our upcoming 7" EP on Noise & Distortion, which should be out by spring time.

January 23, 2009
ABNORM will enter the studio on Monday, January 26 to record 8 new tracks and probebly a TERVEET KÄDET cover too. 1 or 2 songs will probebly be up on our Myspace page during next week..
The title of the 7" will be "Ett liv av helvete", which will be something like "A life of hell" in English. And if you're a true nerd and want the titles, here they are: "Pappa U.S.A" (Papa USA), "Rättvisa?" (Justice?), "Tagga ner" (Cool it), "Kyrkans propaganda" (Propaganda of the Church), "Parasiterna" (The Parasites), "Inget Värd" (Nothing Worth), "Gräv din grav" (Dig Your Grave) and "Totala helvetet" (The Total Hell), plus "Eien Koskaan Sotaa" by TERVEET KÄDET.

January 9, 2009
New download EP, titled "Varför?" available for free download!
I (Jimmy, vocals & webmaster) took my own decision to release these 4 tracks, which is supposed to end up on some compilation that we probebly never will see (as usual). The songs was recorded during our last studio session in April/May last year, and I still haven't heared anything about that compilation (or any other compilation that were supposed to be on). Would be very nice to get a copy or 4!
As a matter of fact, I have only got 1 compilation so far. And I think we're supposed to be on at least 6 or 8 by now.. It's the same problem with those who release cassettes. We would really like to get a copy of it, as we collect everything with us on it. It would also make it a lot easier to complete the discography.
But as usual, you can't have everything. Hope you like the songs anyway!

January 8, 2009
Now you can download the 3-way split "Who's Gonna Save The World?" from this site (about time, huh?). Here we also give you the artwork, in case you're old-school and want to make your own CD.
We are currently working on some new songs (again), and will probebly record them in the end of this month already.

Dec. 29, 2008
Andreas Hedberg (doomsdaymag.blogspot.com) was at our gig in Göteborg and succeeded to film the new song "Kyrkans Propaganda" (Propaganda of the Church), which will be on the new 7" EP.

Dec. 28, 2008
Thanks a lot for the support in Göteborg last night! If you have any photos or film clips, please let us know!
Now we will continue to work on new material for a 7" EP, which will be released next spring.

Dec. 19, 2008
What a surprice! We finally got the money from UAHC. Thanks!
Turns out that a not too intelligent woman diden't understand that she should put the money on the band's accounts at once, hahaha!
Now don't miss to kick out Santa with us on December 27 at Underjorden (SPATT) in Göteborg, Sweden! And give us all your presents (especially your money) ;-)

Dec. 13, 2008
It's now 2 weeks since we played at Ungdomens Hus in Uppsala, Sweden, and UAHC who arranged it has still not paid our gas money. For some reason they diden't want to pay us right away after the gig, but put the money on our bank account, which means that we had to pay the gas all by ourselves. This really sucks!
As far as I got it, they diden't have enough money. But the guy who I called promised that the money would be on my account the next day (which was Wednesday, Dec. 10), but there's still no money! If you book bands from all over Sweden, you better make sure that you actually can pay them!
If we ever get the money and they want to book us again, they better pay us in advance (but problems with the one who book use to mean no more gigs).

Dec. 8, 2008
It's now confirmed that the new date for Underjorden in Göteborg is December 27. Information about other bands will be announced later..

Dec. 7, 2008
The gig in Göteborg on December 12 is cancelled, but we have been asked to play on December 27 instead. More news later..

Dec. 6, 2008
Just wanted you to know that ANGER BURNING will NOT play with us in Göteborg, due to some nazi shit. Read more and get the latest info at www.spatt.info (only in Swedish). And no, it's not confirmed yet who will play with us there. When we know, we let you know, o.k.?
We might be too early about this, but it looks like UAHC, who arrange gigs at Ungdomens Hus in Uppsala, is a fucking rip off idiot. We haven't got our money yet anyway, and it's a week ago.. Never again!

Nov. 25, 2008
Don't miss us in Uppsala on Saturday! As the schedule looks like now we will play at 17.45.
We are also confirmed to play at Underjorden in Göteborg with ANGER BURNING and 1 more band on December 12.
After this we will continue to work on new songs for the 7", as well as record the songs. We hope it will be out around spring.

Nov. 11, 2008
Believe it or not, but it looks like we will actually do 1 more gig this year! We've been asked to play at SPATT/Underjorden in Göteborg, Sweden again (we did our only gig last year there) on December 12. We don't know much else about it yet (and it's not 100% confirmed yet), but when we have more details we let you know.

Nov. 5, 2008
ABNORM will be playing at Ungdomens Hus in Uppsala, Sweden on November 29! This will probebly be our only gig this year, so be there! Bands like MASSGRAV, NICE IDIOT, SPRÄNGD etc. are also playing. More info at: myspace.com/uahc

Oct. 31, 2008
Now you can download the 3-way split for free, as you all seems to be too cheap to buy it from us. Our guitarist Marko has posted the whole thing on his blog Garanterat Mangel, so get it now!
You can also find a lot of reviews on our MySpace page. It's posted as blogs.
Have a bloody Halloween (with ABNORM in your speakers of course)!

Oct. 26, 2008
Yet another review of the 3-way split by Skrutt. Both in Swedish and English.

Oct. 24, 2008
Found another review of the 3-way split by Delirium Tremens, only in Swedish this time too.

Oct. 23, 2008
Lyrics for the untitled Japanese collection and "Enough" has been added to our MySpace blog - myspace.com/abnormswe.
Reviews will be added there sooner or later.. ..and while we talk about reviews, the first review of the 3-way split is up now at bloggasfuck. Only in Swedish though.

Oct. 18, 2008
NEW GUESTBOOK! The old one was too fucked up, and you can't even reach their site anymore, so we got a new one for you. Too bad that we lose all old messages.
Our lyrics for the songs on "Who's Gonna Save The World" can now be found in the blog section of our MySpace page. More lyrics might be added in the future.

Oct. 15, 2008
ABNORM are currently working on new material for a 7" on Belgian label Noise And Distortion Records, which will hopefully be released early next year.

Sept. 29, 2008
There seem to be some fuck up with the guestbook, as there's a blank page when you have posted your comment, when you should be redirected back to the guestbook and see your comment there instead. But don't worry about that, your comment is posted in the guestbook anyway, we promise!

Sept. 26, 2008
Belgian label Noise & Distortion Records wants to release a 12" or 7" with us, and it will probebly be a 12" EP or LP. More information later..

Sept. 23, 2008
The 3-way split can now be ordered on CD-R from us: 20 Swedish kronor in Sweden, 3 Euro for EU countries or US dollars 4 for the rest of the world. Postage included!
Reset Not Equal Zero will release it on CD-R in Japan in mid-October (earliest). It will soon be released on CD-R and/or tape in Indonesia, and on tape in USA.
If you have or know a label that wants to release this masterpiece in your country, please get in touch!

Sept. 16, 2008
It looks like the 3-way split, "Who's Gonna Save The World?", will be released in USA on good old tape by Morbit Massaker Recs. Reset Not Equal Zero will hopefully have the CD-R out in October.
Our guitarist Marko got a new page for ABNORM and his former band RAJOITUS on MySpace. Check it out at: myspace.com/abnormrajoitus
Jimmy the singer also have a new page at MySpace for his solo project MaD JiM, which you will find at: myspace.com/madjim1

Sept. 4, 2008
I don't know if you noticed it, but it looks like I forgot to upload the zip files for "Död Och Pina" and "O-Neg Compilation". But now they're up and ready to download! Artwork and lyrics is included, and it's just our songs. If you want "the real thing" (split 7" w/ RAJOITUS and a 71-track compilation CD-R), I (Jimmy) still got 1 copy left of the split 7" and 2 copies of the compilation, so act fast!

Sept. 3, 2008
New website after 3 years or something! Hope you like it!
So, the 3-way split has been entitled "Who's Gonna Save The World?", and our songs are:
13. Världen är full av hat
14. Allt e' skit
15. Skitpolitik
16. Politik är en lögn
17. Domedagen (forgot to thank my little sister Linda for this song in the artwork, but many thanks anyway sister!)
18. Falsk verklighet
19. I Guds namn
20. Är detta frihet?
21. Låt Dom Inte Lura Dig
22. Dom Knäcker inte mig
23. Datorstat (MISSBRUKARNA cover)
There will also be 4 songs on a split or compilation from Russia: Spräng Försäkringskassan åt helvete, Varför?, Endless Struggle, White Rastas (MODERAT LIKVIDATION cover).
We are still looking for gigs and people who wants to release records and tapes with us!

August 27, 2008
O.k., maybe it's time to announce who the new bassist is? Well, it's another dude from THE VULTURES (as you might know our drummer played with them earlier), and his name is Robban (we don't know his whole name, but who cares?).
The 3-way split is on it's way, and the artwork will be revealed soon.. We will also participate on some kind of release from Russia with 4 songs, but we don't know much about that right now. We are also waiting for a compilation LP from USA, which we don't know that much about either.
So let's just say more info when we have it!

August 21, 2008
ABNORM rehearsed for the first time in about 2 months yesterday. We played some old stuff, and we even had a bassist, which hopefully will stay and not just dissapear as they use to. More info on that dude later on..
So now that we have a bassist WE WANT GIGS! But I guess we are talking to the deaf as usual?
When it comes to new releases, I (Jimmy, the singer) are trying to get some shit together. We have the 4-way split, that might be a 3-way split with RAJOITUS, ZUDAS KRUST and ABNORM, as we never seems to get the stuff from SATELLITE. Then there's talk about another split release, and maybe something more. Anybody who's intrested in releasing something with us should get in touch, but I guess I'm talking with the deaf again?
We (or Jimmy) was interviewed for Annhilation Zine (from Indonesia) during the summer, but I don't have a clue when that zine will be out. There was also a "review" in Swedish fanzine Skitliv!, which was totally misleading! First of all there's just 1 former member of RAJOITUS in ABNORM, and we definetely not play "Swedish DIA PSALMA punk".
It also looks like at least 1 of the members in MODERAT LIKVIDATION like us, cool! Let us be your support act in Göteborg, Sweden on September 6!

July 18, 2008
A new review of "Enough!" from Attack Fanzine.
We are still waiting for SATELLITE's stuff for the 4-way split.

June 20, 2008
There's a lot of fucking spam and "undelivered message" notes coming to our inbox right now, and that sucks! We just want you to know that if you get any crap mail (so called spam) from our e-mail, IT'S NOT ABNORM who sent it! Some fuckers are using our address.
Otherwise we have a "vacation" from playing until August. We also need a new bassist, so if you're intrested get in touch at once!

June 6, 2008
....and we celebrate Sweden's national day with a bunch of new photos, taken by Jimmy's little brother Thomas on Wednesday, June 4, which was our last rehearse for about 10 weeks, simply becuse the place is closed. We will start working on new stuff in August, when the shit open again. And we want gigs from late August, so BOOK US NOW!
Oh yeah, let's see.. When did we record "Napalm Över Klubb 033"? About a year ago I think.. Well, they wanted to book us but found out about that song after a year or something, so there won't be any gigs at their club anymore. Sorry kids! But we are waiting for a date in Oslo, Norway, and that's always something. And the drummer is talking about a possible date in Jönköping, Sweden in about 2 months or something. But we have to see what will actually happen with that. People talk too much sometimes, hehe..
We are still waiting for the stuff from SATELLITE for the 4-way split, and while we talk about that, do you have any good name for this release? Send us your suggestions now! I (Jimmy) think my ideas suck (Sweden vs Indonesia, Friends in Hate). This is your chance to give us a title!

May 21, 2008
We are currently working on a 4-way split with SATELLITE (fr. Indonesia), ZUDASKRUST (fr. Indonesia) and RAJOITUS (fr. Sweden). And NO RAJOITUS is NOT back! This is 5 previously unreleased songs they had left.
All we know right now is that it will be a CD-R and probebly a tape. Our Japanese friend at Reset Not Equal Zero will release it as CD-R in Japan, and the bands will probebly make their own CD-R's or tapes. If any more label would be intrested, please let us know!
We are not sure about how many songs there will be from each band yet, but ABNORM have 15 new songs, and we will probebly not put all those songs on this release. So if there is any intrest at all to release a 7" or MCD with us, please let us know!

May 17, 2008
We celebrate Norway's national day with yet another review of our excellent "Enough!" release. This time it's done by Plytet at Backlash, and it's only available in Swedish.

May 3, 2008
Found another review of "Enough!" by Peter Thorsson at Skrutt, it's both in English and Swedish.

May 2, 2008
The new recording is done! Listen to some of the new stuff at the following places:

April 29, 2008
A new fantastic review of "Enough!", this time by Thomas Eriksson at immonen.blogg.se
ABNORM entered the studio yesterday to record some new material. Drums and guitars for 15 songs (13 of our own and 2 covers) was recorded. We will go back to the studio on Friday to record bass, some more guitar here and there + vocals. Hopefully we will have time to mix it too. We will post a couple of new songs on our MySpace page as soon as they're finished.

April 24, 2008
The studio is finally booked! We will be recording our new songs next week.
There has been talk about another split, but we will have to see what will actually happen with that.
We will be on a compilation LP from USA, but we don't have any more information on that right now.

April 11, 2008
2 new reviews today! 1 of the split 7" with RAJOITUS from My Last Chapter and 1 of the latest release, "Enough", from Delirium Tremens. The one from My Last Chapter is in English, while the one from Delirium Tremens is in Swedish. And you can find these reviews in the reviews section of this site as usual..

April 10, 2008
We thought that it could be fun to do at least 1 gig this year, so go ahead, make our day and book us now! No last minute requests though, we need a couple of weeks to rehearse some old stuff and find a new bass player. Yes, Andrej is more or less out of the band. He simply diden't show enough intrest.

April 9, 2008
Jimmy's little brother has updated his Immonen blog with some ABNORM stuff in Swedish (a weird interview, discography, biography and a review), check it out here!

April 7, 2008
Local morning paper Borås Tidning wrote about us today. Check it out in the reviews section of the site, only in Swedish though..

March 27, 2008
A little update on what's happening with ABNORM..
We have finally got a new time to rehearse on some new songs, which we will record as soon as possible.
If somebody is seriously intrested in releasing something with us, let us know! But if we get the usual shit/nada response, go fuck yourselves! = we release it ourselves at abnorm.se

March 8, 2008
The film clips can now be seen again at the downloads section of this site. We simply opened a YouTube channel at youtube.com/abnormtube, so if anybody have any film clips from one of our rare gigs, please contact us at info@abnorm.se at once and we let you know how to send it to us (don't send the clips to our e-mail account!).
We also want more photos. Please send everything you got to our e-mail! We have been promised photos from our first gig, but these people seem to have forgot it or maybe they're just too lazy.

March 7, 2008
We had to move all our downloads to save some space at abnorm.se, but now we have found a new solution that hopefully will work just fine. And now you can pre-listen to 1 song from each release too (there's more songs at MySpace, Punkrockers.com and MohawkRadio, check the link section for links).
We still have to find a solution for the film clips from our first gig, but these files are really large, so it's a pain in the ass to upload them. We will definetely NOT put them on MySpace, 'cus their errors makes you want to beat the shit out of Tom ;-)

February 24, 2008
The Japanese CD-R version of "Enough" will be released in early March by our mate Keijo at Reset Not Equal Zero. The only thing that is a little different with this version is the lyric sheet, which Keijo made himself, and all the artwork is much sharper. No bonus tracks or anything else.
If you find any reviews of anything that we have done or photos and video clips of us that's not on this site, please let me (vocalist & webmaster Jimmy) know.
We are currently rehearsing new songs and will enter the studio sooner or later. There have been talks about a split with some Asian band (sorry, I can't remember their name and where they were from right now), so I guess the songs might be used for that..

February 16, 2008
New reviews and new photos - Check it out!

January 19, 2008
We can now reveal that our latest release, "Enough!", will be released as a CD-R by our Japanese mate at Reset Not Equal Zero, who released the untitled collection. We are currently dealing with the artwork to see if we can use the original one or not, the Japs are not like others you know, hehe..
By the way, the Japanese collection have been sold in 130 copies so far according to Reset Not Equal Zero, always something.
Last but not least, where's the fucking interviews?!

Artwork January 13, 2008
The artwork for our latest recording has finally been done, and the whole thing can be downloaded for free here. It's a zip file with 14 MP3's, artwork and lyrics.
If you're too lazy to make your own CD-R, you can order it here.

July 18, 2008
A new review of "Enough!" from Attack Fanzine.
We are still waiting for SATELLITE's stuff for the 4-way split.

January 13, 2008
The artwork for our latest recording has finally been done, and the whole thing can be downloaded for free here. It's a zip file with 14 MP3's, artwork and lyrics.
If you're too lazy to make your own CD-R, you can order it here.
November 22, 2007
Finally!
Check out 4 new songs on our MySpace profile, 3 new songs on our MohawkRadio profile and another 2 new songs on our PunkRockers.com profile
There's a total of 14 new songs, and we will release it ourselves as no label seem to be intrested. It will be released both as CD-R and as a download from this website. But more information about that later on..
Thanks for the support!

November 19, 2007
We are among "This Week's Featured Artists" at www.mohawkradio.com - Cool!

November 14, 2007
Yes, the songs are re-recorded now, with bass too! I don't know if the other guys has mixed it yet, but expect some new stuff on our MySpace page pretty soon (well, at least 1 or 2 weeks).
The "forgotten" compilation CD from Malaysian label Disarmament Records is finally going to be released later this month or next month. It's called I LOVE D-BEAT PART 1 and will include the following bands: ABNORM (Sweden), AGONY (Singapore), ANTI PROTOKOL (Malaysia), DISCO (USA), DISCOVER (Sweden), ELIMINATE (USA), FATAL (Germany), HELLOWAR (Indonesia), NUCLEAR DEATH TERROR (Denmark), REALITY CRISIS (Japan), SOTATILA (Finland) and TOTALICKERS (Spain).

October 23, 2007
....and of course we did NOT enter the studio on Monday. Looks like our lazy bassist diden't book the studio in advance, clever dude! We might enter the studio next week, but with all the bad luck we had during the last time we will probebly never have those fucking songs done.

October 21, 2007
Time flies away even though not much happens..
ABNORM will enter the studio again tomorrow to re-record our latest stuff, as our first session for some weird reason just dissapeared before it was done.
I don't have any news when it comes to releases and gigs right now, people are so damned slow and lazy. We still need more labels to be involved in the release of the new split 7" mentioned below, and we still need a label who wants to release the songs that won't make it to the split, and we also want a lot more gigs - So come on people, WAKE UP!!....or go fuck yourselves!

September 16, 2007
Now you can read all our lyrics for all the songs that we have released so far (about time, huh?) »
The recordings of new stuff takes a little longer than expected, but should be done pretty soon. The release of the split 7" with KYLMÄ SOTA might also be a little delayed as we need more labels who wants to co-release it. Intrested? Get in touch at once! »
Japanese label Reset Not Equal Zero have sold over 70 copies of the CD-R collection so far. The Indonesian tape edition should be released soon and will include lyrics to all songs as a bonus (there's probebly not that many "cyber punks" there, so they can't read the lyrics on the web).
We might also be playing live again in our hometown Borås in November, but we don't know that much about that yet. We want more gigs, so please book us! We will come for gas money as all other punks (but we are very thankful if we get food and beer too).

August 23, 2007
The Japanese CD-R collection will be released on good old cassette in Indonesia soon.
We will probebly enter the studio during next week to record some new stuff.
Would be nice to play live, so please book us at once!

August 13, 2007
The CD-R collection on Japanese label Reset Not Equal Zero will be released this Wednesday (Aug. 15). This CD will include all the songs we have recorded so far (37 original and a cover). Get in touch with Reset Not Equal Zero if you want a copy!
ABNORM will hopefully start rehearsing again soon and record our part of the split-7" with Finnish band KYLMÄ SOTA, which is planned to be released during fall/winter 2007 on Finnish label Fight Records.

July 6, 2007
Pretty cool news.. Japanese label Reset Not Equal Zero will release a Japanese edition CD-R with all the stuff we have recorded so far. More information soon..

June 27, 2007
Shop and discography has been updated! I (Jimmy, the singer) have 2 copies of the split 7" with RAJOITUS for sale, so hurry if you want 1 from me! I also sell the O-NEG Compilation now.
The 3 "previously unreleased" songs that has been on our MySpace page for a while can now be downloaded here at abnorm.se, and there will be songs from the split 7" and the compilation on the MySpace page instead.
I also decided to take away the concert date in August as we are not even listed as booked on Klubb 033's website, so currently we are not even sure if we will play there or not (let us know Roger!).

June 25, 2007
The compilation is out now and is called O-NEG COMPILATION, check it out!
There's also a new song from the compilation on our MySpace page: myspace.com/abnormswe

June 23, 2007
ABNORM have been asked to do a split-7" EP with Finish crust punks KYLMÄ SOTA. It's planned to be released during the fall/winter on Finnish label Fight Records. ABNORM will record new songs for the 7".

May 6, 2007
Thanks to those who came to see us in Gothenburg last night, it was definetely the best venue so far.

April 28, 2007
The compilation from the Netherlands that we will participate on will have the following line-up: YATTAI, NESSERIA, FED UP, FrankXSinatra, YACUZZI, SLAPENDEHONDEN, OKKULT, LAST LAUGH, SMG, ABNORM, UNDER AL KRITIK and CARPET VIOLENCE. They don't have a title for it yet, but maybe they will call it "O-neg comp"....nothing's set in stone yet though. It should probebly be out soon.

April 24, 2007
Swedish/American internet radio show Mondo Kaos like the split EP, which means that they will play both ABNORM and RAJOITUS on their show. Mondo Kaos is broadcast through Solarfall.com every Sunday at 9.00 PM to 11.30 PM US CST, and the first hour gives you all kinds of hard punk, like crust core/d-beat and grind. Check it out!

April 17, 2007
ABNORM are going to play live in Göteborg, Sweden for the first time on June 5. This will happen at Underjorden, and it's SPATT Collective who arrange it. Go to the "gigs" section of this site for more information..

April 4, 2007
We just wanted you to know that the split 7" with RAJOITUS is out now! Get it from www.fakevomit.de (we don't have it yet and won't get that many copies either, so all our copies will go to reviews and friends).
The site was gone yesterday (Apr. 3), I don't have a clue why, so don't ask..

April 1, 2007
I'm not going to joke, o.k.?
The split 7" with RAJOITUS should be out now or any day on Fake Vomit Inc. Check it out, it will be the split 7" of the year! We suggest that you order it directly from Fake Vomit Inc.
The 6-way split have now become a 8-way split, and there might be even more bands, so I guess we can call it a compilation from now on. This might also be the last compilation that we will be on, as we haven't heared from any of those who are supposed to release compilations with our songs on (would be nice if you at least could let us know if it's out yet and what it's called).
We are also rehearsing new songs, and we will most likely record them before the summer, so if you want to release something serious with us, let us know!
I (Jimmy) have also made some small changes here and there on this site, and there's a discography now.

March 5, 2007
There was a "little" incident when our friends in THE VULTURES played here in Borås on Saturday (Mar. 3), and as you might know we share drummer with THE VULTURES. Becuse of this incident (which you can read more about here and here) the arranger dosen't want ABNORM to play at their gigs for a while. So right now I'm not sure if we will play the festival here in Borås in August. And if you have any comments about what happened, you're at the totally wrong place! Go to www.thevulturesrock.tk instead!
More shit is that the pressing plant in Germany, who press the split 7" with RAJOITUS, have asked if RAJOITUS are nazis and want all their lyrics in English (they're all in Finnish). I can tell you that they're definetely NOT nazis! This will probebly delay the EP even more, otherwise it should be out later this month.
Something good is that there's 3 new songs (or rather re-recordings) on our MySpace page that diden't make it to any of our upcoming releases, which dosen't mean that they suck. The reason why they diden't make it is that the time on our upcoming releases is limited.

February 18, 2007
The material for the split-7" will be sent to the pressing plant next week, so I guess it will be released next month.
The 4-way split tape has become a 6-way split with ABNORM, OKKULT, SLAPENDEHONDEN, YATTAI, CARPET VIOLENCE and NESSERIA. If I got it right it will be released on cassette in Indonesia and on CD-R in the rest of the world.
We will be playing at Sommarfestivalen in our hometown Borås, Sweden on August 10 or 11. Click on gigs for further details.

February 13, 2007
Alright, all the stuff for the split-7" is now sent to Fake Vomit Inc. in Germany. Unless anything fuck up it should be out soon. Something that I don't know when it will be out or if it's already out is all those compilations we are supposed to be on, 'cus I haven't heared from any of the labels in months. If you have a compilation with our songs, please let us know that it actually exist so that we can complete our discography! Would be nice if you could send us a copy of it too.
There's been talk about a 4-way split cassette, but I don't know yet if it will happen or not. If it happens we will put a bunch of songs from our latest studio session on it, so in other words re-recordings (the new songs will be on the 7").
There's been a couple of postings in the guestbook with requests that we should play at the Swedish festival Augustibuller. I have contacted them and are waiting for a reply. Please send your requests to Augustibuller too! - www.augustibuller.com

February 8, 2007
New review of our latest release, "Ert Jävla System Kan Fan Brinna I Helvetet Era Satans As", at Doomsday Mag.
The split status is like this: Both bands got problems with the artwork, ABNORM has solved their problems and RAJOITUS is hopefully working on it.

January 22, 2007
Now I got some more details about the upcoming 7" split with RAJOITUS..
Andrej and Fredrik have re-mixed a couple of the songs we recorded in late October, so we will probebly have 8 songs on our side. We have entitled our side "Död Och Pina" (Death and Torment).
RAJOITUS was in the studio during the weekend to record their stuff, and they was satisfied with 4 songs that will appear on their side. They have entitled their side "Sodan Herrat", and I don't have a clue what that means as I don't speak Finnish.
I'm not sure when the EP will be released, but it should be very soon and it will kick ass, that's for sure!
We are also looking for concerts, so if you want to book us, just do it! (we won't kill you). The only thing we are booked to so far is a festival in our hometown Borås, but that's not until August....and no, we don't have a exact date yet, but it will come.

January 7, 2007
We are now "profiled" at attackfanzine.net
RAJOITUS will enter the studio in a couple of weeks to record their songs for the split-7", so it will hopefully be out in a couple of months I suppose.
December 11, 2006
ABNORM are currently working on new material.

December 4, 2006
Jimmy's birthday! Hooray!! He's getting younger and better looking for each year.
We got some photos from our last gig at Cafe Parkaden on November 4, thanks to Christian Haglund who took them.

November 21, 2006
A new review of our latest release, this time from the Swedish web zine Punkrocks.se....yet another one who compare us with RÖVSVETT.

November 5, 2006
The gig last night sucked and no gas masks as we planned.. And where was "Jimmy's fan club"?

November 3, 2006
ABNORM will participate with 2 songs on a compilation from the Danish label DIY OR DIE Records. The compilation is simply called DIY OR DIE! and will also include 2 songs with RAJOITUS. That's all I (Jimmy) know so far..
The compilation from Malaysian label Disarmament Records is about to be done and will include 3 songs with us.
Don't miss our concert tomorrow night, we have something special for you..

November 2, 2006
ABNORM singer Jimmy Blom once had a solo project called HUMAN DISASTER, and he will release a compilation, entitled "My Greatest Farts", on November 6. This CD-R will include 24 of his best songs (including some that ABNORM have re-done) as well as lyrics, liner notes, a short story, discography and some photos.
For further details and to order yourself a copy, check out Jimmy's web site at: www.jimmyblom.tk

October 30, 2006
Swedish punk/hc band ABNORM have spent the weekend in the studio to record new songs as well as re-record a bunch of old ones. You can now listen to 4 of these songs on our MySpace page (but for some reason you can only see 3 on the page).
Some of the songs we recorded will end up on a split-7" EP with our friends in RAJOITUS, we're not sure yet whatever will happen to the rest of the songs.
ABNORM will play live again on Saturday, November 4 at Cafe Parkaden in our hometown Borås, Sweden. We are scheduled to enter the stage at 22.00 and entrance is free so be there for the concert of your life!

October 3, 2006
The first review of our latest release is up now at Swedish webzine Delirium Tremens's website, which you find here. CD's for review will be sent out soon.

September 23, 2006
We will enter the studio again in the end of October to record our songs for the split with RAJOITUS, we might also re-record some of the songs from our first release, "Multinationella Horor", but that's just talk so far....anything can happen..

September 17, 2006
It looks like our next release might be a split-7" EP with RAJOITUS, distributed by a label called Fake Vomit. I have no further details yet, let's just hope that it actually will happen.
Info on our bassist is updated and film clips from our concert are up now at "downloads".

September 8, 2006
4 photos from our gig last Saturday is up now at www.klubb033.se....click on "Bilder" and then "Nostalgipunken 2006" to find the photos on their web site.

September 7, 2006
We are currently working on new material for another excellent EP.
Next concert is already booked - Cafe Parkaden in Borås, Sweden on November 4.
I guess we forgot to tell you that we will participate on a compilation cassette from Raw Distro. We don't have any further details yet, and we don't even know what songs they have picked. When it comes to the compilation CD from the Malaysian label Disarmament Records, we haven't heared anything from them yet.

September 3, 2006
Our first ever gig went just fine and we thank all our "fans" who was there. Check out some photos taken by my little sister. We will hopefully get some more photos and maybe a few film clips (depends on the quality). You can also watch some pics at korsarkoff.bilddagboken.se.
New photos taken last Friday (Sep. 1) are up too.

August 28, 2006
Our new Internet EP, "Ert Jävla System Kan Fan Brinna I Helvetet Era Satans As", is out now! You can download all 10 tracks plus the cover for free by clicking on downloads.

August 24, 2006
Now you can read a little bit more about our new bassist, Andrej Hartikainen, on the members page. More details will be added soon..
There's a total of 4 new tracks on our MySpace page now, so check them out right now! All 10 tracks should be ready for download from this site during next week already, as no label seem to have time to release anything with us right now.
The new photos have to wait..

August 21, 2006
We are currently rehearsing for the concert on September 2, and it's now confirmed that we will be the last band that evening, which means that we will be on stage 21.30-22.00. For tickets and more information, go to: www.klubb033.se
When we rehearsed yesterday (Sunday, Aug. 20) we got a visit from our first drummer Christian Bergman, he tried to play "Skit" with us but was a bit too lazy to make the whole song, hahaha.
We also have found a new bassist who is learning our songs very fast, more information on him and new photos soon..
You might also wonder what ever happened to the 10 tracks we recorded a couple of months ago.. This is the deal; If no label show any intrest before our concert in September, we will release it on this web site after the concert, just like we did with our first release.

August 12, 2006
O.k., not the biggest news item maybe, but ABNORM are mentioned in the local morning paper Borås Tidning today. Check it out online here.

July 19, 2006
I found a new review of our Internet EP, it's from Doomsday Mag this time and it's written in Swedish.

July 18, 2006
ABNORM will participate on a compilation CD from the Malaysian label Disarmament Records, there will be 3 songs from us. More information later..

June 19, 2006
The club that we will play at, Klubb 033, on September 2 have a web site now: www.klubb033.se - Check it out for the latest information. The club have by the way changed the line up once again.. ABNORM, SISTA SKRIKET and RYCKLACK MED SLICKSLAKT are still on, but GUINEPIGS will not be playing and MÖGEL have (as expected) said no. New bands are: ISSUES, CAPTAIN CRUNCH and WOLFSBLOOD. Looks like this evening won't be as good as we wanted it to be, as we would be happier if we could get concerts with bands that sound more like us (we're also stupid enough to play for free).

June 7, 2006
New review of "Multinationella Horor" over at www.backlash.se
Listen to our new song "Ert Jävla System Kan Fan Brinna I Helvetet Era Satans As" at www.myspace.com/abnormswe

June 3, 2006
O.k., ABNORM recorded 10 new tracks a couple of weeks ago, which we will send out to some labels to see if they're intrested in releasing it as a EP or something like that. We decided to skip all the covers, so there's just ABNORM originals this time. We might put up 1 of the songs on our MySpace page, so check it out at www.myspace.com/abnormswe
On Friday June 2, we tried out a new bass player, but we don't have too much to say about that yet.. If he stay we let you know who he is on the members page.
We will probebly not rehearse that much during the summer as the place where we rehearse will be closed for almost 2 months (yeah, close all the youth recreation centres so that the kids can fight and destroy all summer instead).

May 8, 2006
More details about our gig here in Borås on September 2 have been annonced, check out the gigs section of this site.
We will record 10 new tunes + 3 covers in the end of the month. If there's anybody out there who would like to release a EP or something like that, please get in touch immediately!

April 26, 2006
New review at www.attackfanzine.net
We (or rather Jimmy Blom, the singer) was interviewed by good old mail the other day, it was Jimmy's little brother who had a lot of weird questions, and none of the questions had to do with the band (!!). I don't know if you ever will see this weirdo-zine, his been working on it for about 3-5 years or something.. All that I (Jimmy) have to say is that; "it was the most fucked up interview I ever got!"
It looks like we will get ourselves a new bassist (again), more information later on..
We plan to record a couple of new songs in the end of May, but we have to see if the studio is available then first.

April 17, 2006
I have done some small changes here and there on this site and added a few more sections, hope you like it.

April 14, 2006
Alright sucker! Nothing is 100% sure yet, but we have been booked to play at Allegården here in Borås in September (looks like it will be Sep. 2, which is a Saturday, so expect a after party at Lilla Krogen which is a low-life Chinese restaurant about 10 meters from the venue). Other bands are not confirmed yet, so I won't say anything about it yet....in other words more details later..
As our last gig was cancelled due to sickness, this will be our first gig ever!

April 7, 2006
A new review @ My Last Chapter, in English only this time.
The guestbook will be down between 7.00-12.00 (Swedish time) on Saturday, April 8. Webtjänster, who host the guestbook, are getting new cables for their servers. So if it's suddenly not there try again later.
We might get a new bassist soon, more about that later if it actually will happen at all..

March 25, 2006
I found yet another review over at Skrutt's web site, this time in both Swedish and English.
You can read all reviews at our new reviews page. Check it out on a regular basis, there will be more reviews soon..

March 24, 2006
O.k., the first review of our "Internet-EP" is up now at doghead.info.se ( in Swedish).
Otherwise we are currently making and rehearsing new songs, and we are still waiting for a new bassist.

March 6, 2006
Our first ever interview is up now, only in Swedish though.. Check it out at doghead.info.se

March 5, 2006
Oops.. seems like there was something wrong with the zip file I uploaded yesterday, but now you can download our songs. Enjoy!
We have already got our first interview, which is really fun! We tell you more about it later..

March 4, 2006
Our debut EP, "Multinationella Horor", is finally out!
We recorded it today within 3 hours, and the studio guy was kind enough to mix it the same day, big thanks to Kim at Tåget!
To get this masterpiece for free, click on download. If you want a CD, e-mail us and we'll fix it for you. If you want the lyrics, check out the lyrics page on this site.
We will now start working on new songs and plan to hit the studio again during the summer.

March 1, 2006
As you probebly already know, ABNORM will enter the studio on Saturday (Mar. 4). We are going to record 19 of our own songs and a cover of MENTAL ABUSE's "Rat-Race". The title will be "Multinationella Horor", which means "Multinational Whores" in Swedish. We should have this recording ready for free download during the weekend or early next week.

February 16, 2006
Our first ever pin has been made! It's a big 44 mm pin that you can see to the left. We have a very limited edition to begin with, but if they sell out we will order more. If you want one just send us 10:50 kr inside Sweden or 15 SEK (Swedish kronor) or 2 Euro or 2 Dollars to the rest of the world, postage is included in the price.

February 12, 2006
ABNORM will finally hit the studio on March 4! We will record 18-20 songs, which we will let you download for free from this site as a package (including mp3's and CD cover). Further details when the recording is done..

January 14, 2006
ABNORM rehearsed for the first time in a couple of weeks on Friday the 13th, and for the first time at our new rehearsal room (which looks like a bunker). Everything went pretty good, but it was a little too slow. The bassist diden't show up this time either, so we are still looking for a new bassist.
It looks like we won't be able to record our songs in the end of January as planned, but we will probebly hit the studio in the end of February instead....unless you know about a cheap studio in or near Borås, Sweden - let us know at once then!
Otherwise there's not much else to say.. We will not do any gigs before we have a permanent bassist.
Thanks for the support and have patience, studio recordings will be up as soon as possible.

December 27, 2005
We are currently having a Christmas break, sort of, due to the fact that we can't rehearse in a couple of weeks as the venue where we use to rehearse is closed for a few weeks. We are by the way looking at the possibility to rehearse at a other venue, which have better equipment but for the same price. Further details next year..

December 15, 2005
Time for an update again..
Our bassist diden't have time to join us last time we rehearsed as his other band, DECIMATE, are recording a new demo. For some reason he became a session bassist, which means that he will join us when he's available. We would really like to have a permanent bassist though who can give his or her life to the band, so if there's somebody out there who is intrested, please contact us at once! It's a plus if you live around Borås, Sweden or are ready to move to this small town.
We also tried 3 new songs at our last rehearsal - "Stiftelsen Vitryssland 1", "Egoister 1" and "Vatten, Bröd och Död". We diden't succeed to record them though, so you have to wait to hear them.
We have been placed as substitute at the local punk festival Sjuhäradspunken 2006, which means that they will probebly ask us to play if any of the bands who are booked cancel. If you want further details about Sjuhäradspunken, check out their website at: www.piratkopiera.com/sjuharadspunken

As you obviously already know we have registered abnorm.se now - Enjoy the ride!
We're currently looking for a studio where we can record our songs, and we're aiming at the end of January. If you got or know a cheap studio in or near Borås, Sweden - let us know at once! We have 13 songs so far that we will record, and they are: Skit, Råpunkare, Sometimes, Stop The Production, Skitsystem, Cruel World, Maskiner, Fuck You, 2000 e. kr. f., S.O.S (System Of Shit), Horsystem, Don't Think Twice and Onanera Mera.
There have been some sickness in the band, so we haven't been able to rehearse for a couple of weeks. We hope that that shit is over so that we can start to rehearse again.
We're sorry that the gig at Tåget here in Borås diden't happen for us, but our guitarist was just too sick to make it, and there was nothing that we could do about that. On the other hand, those who arranged the gig never contacted us, so we shoulden't have played there anyway..
If you want to book us for our first gig ever, click on contact and read more.

The gig today is fucking cancelled! Marko is too sick to make it.

November 25, 2005
Right now we're not sure if the gig at Tåget here in Borås, Sweden will happen for us, as our guitarist Marko is really sick (fever etc.). He's supposed to be playing with his other band, RAJOITUS in Göteborg, Sweden tonight (Nov. 15), but at the moment (16.04 local time) I'm not sure if he will make that either.
I will give you more information as soon as possible, promise! /Jimmy (vocals).

So, we finally got ourselves a bassist. His name is David Börjesson, and he also play with DECIMATE. More information about him on the members page. Photos of David will probebly be up during next week.
We are booked to play at Tåget in our hometown Borås, Sweden on November 26, which you can read more about on the first page » This will be our first show ever, so you better be there!

November 14, 2005
Now we're really confused here.. Rumors are saying that ABNORM are booked to play at Tåget in our hometown Borås, Sweden on November 26, but Jimmy (vocals) and Marko (guitar) don't know a shit about it, and no further details on the venue's website either. I think it's our drummer who have been in touch with Tåget, so we're going to talk with him to get further details. This means that we're in big need of a bassist, who is at least available to rehearse and play with us at this gig, which will be our first ever (!).
There's obviously many question marks to straight out right now, but we hope that we can deliver some real information in 1 or 2 days.

November 13, 2005
Yeah, we have to follow the trend to get our music out, so we have a site at the popular music community MySpace now. The address is myspace.com/abnormswe - Visit us, become a member (if you're not) and rock on!

November 9, 2005
Some new photos taken at our last rehearsal is up now.
The site has been moved to a better hotel, which means less commercial crap. But as long as we use abnormpunk.tk there will always be some commercial crap anyway.
More information in a couple of days..

Johan can continue to masturbate! First he diden't even have his own bass, and then (just an hour or so before we was going to rehearse) he sent an SMS saying that he can't join the band 'cus it would be too expensive to travel (he lives about 70 km away from us). We continue without a bass player and hope that we will find one really soon.
We took some new photos of the band at our last rehearsal, which will be up soon. We will hopefully do our first recording soon, and we might even do some gigs here in Borås, Sweden, but nothing's confirmed yet.

Johan Ljunggren, who play guitar and sing in WOLFSBLOOD, wants to play bass with us, so we will try him at our next rehearsal. If he's good enough he will be our first permanent bass player.
At the "Downloads" section we currently have 9 tracks from our rehearsals. I have done my best to make the sound better than before.

We did our first rehearsal in about 5 and a half years 2 days ago, and it went really good, even though we had a new drummer and still no bassist. We took som new photos and decided to put up a photo page on this site, check it out! As we recorded 13 songs, we might put them up here on the site, but it all depends on how good I can menage to fix the bad sound quality. You can also find more information about our new drummer on the members page of the site.
If you want our news directly to your e-mail, sign up for the Abnorm News above.

Great news my friends!
We have finally found a drummer. It's as a matter of fact our old drummer's younger brother, Fredrik Bergman. More info on this dude will be up later. We are still looking for a bass player, but will start to rehearse next week either way. If you're intrested to play bass with us, let us know at once!
We have also added a links page to the site, check it out! And don't forget to sign our guestbook, there's way too few messages so far!

October 12, 2005
Now you can listen to/download our clips as MP3.
The friends we was going to ask will most likely not have the time to join us, so now we are looking for everybody who is intrested in playing drums or bass with us. If you're intrested, let us know at once!

October 6, 2005
More info about the current members at the members page + new photos there too.
Well, things are actually happening right now. We are currently looking for people who can play with us and somewhere to rehearse, and after a couple of rehearsals we will record about 10-12 of our songs to begin with. I guess we will continue to rehearse after that and record another 10-12 songs, and so on.. I hope we will have the first songs up on this site in the end of this year or at least early next year.

October 4, 2005
I have added a guestbook just in case anybody wants to communicate with us, enjoy.

October 1, 2005
Now you can download 12 short clips from our rehearsal tapes, just as a little appetizer. Please let us know what you think about it.
September 29, 2005
Finally a new design after 4 years of the same look.

September 27, 2005
It's about time that I update this site, isen't it? Well, it was about 2 and a half years since I did it last time, and nothing has happened with this band since Spring 2000.
Marko (guitar) is playing with his old band RAJOITUS, Jimmy (vocals) is doing a web zine called Hard Rock Info and we don't have a clue what Christian (drums) is doing, but rumors says that his a raggare (Swedish word for a Teddy boy, kind of).
The future for ABNORM looks like this right now (note that this is NOT confirmed, just plans that we have).. After Marko saw a couple of Jimmy's so-called "hate poems" at www.jimmyblom.tk, he got intrested in doing music with Jimmy again. So Marko is going to ask a couple of people if they're intrested to help us, an if they are (and this is still a big IF) we will most likely record the 39 songs that we had done when the band ran out in the sand. And if this really happen we will release all the songs for free download.
It will be very intresting to see if these plans really will come true.
Note that the adress to this site have changed to www.abnormpunk.tk, and we're damned sorry about all the commercial crap that might appear, but we're poor boys and not millionaires.
